“We arrived right at check in time and waited a long time in line. We stayed on the 6th floor of the West Wing and the roof was leaking. The hallway wasn't cleaned the entire weekend with pizza boxes and coffee creamers just sitting on the floors and used disposable gloves and crumbs. The hotel had a trash can collecting water for a whole stay that it never emptied. The room isn't the cleanest. It looked like the corners or behind the furniture hadn't been cleaned in forever. The sleeper chair is……

“Was checked is by a girl that clearly was eating her dinner when we got there. She was rude and was talking to us with a mouth full of food. Got to our room. No WiFi. The telephone didn’t work. No shampoo or body wash in the containers. No hand soap. The basic necessities were not provided to us. The breakfast was AWFUL. Only 2 hot station plates being used of 6, with half a scoop of scrambled eggs and 2 over cooked sausages. How does that feed a family of 5, plus everyone else in the hotel.……

“We checked in and were given a room that smelled of mildew. Thankfully we got another room but it wasn’t much better. Although the hotel says it’s smoke free most areas small like musty cigarettes. The food at the breakfast buffet was the worst I’ve seen. Not much variety and very barebones. The rooms are dated, dark and not well-maintained.”

“1st - there is no "front desk", but I was VERY fortunate one of the cleaning staff was there to unlock my door after I was about to leave and left my phone on the tv area. I was freaking out. I don't know what I would've done if they weren't around. 2nd - you can't beat the location to Cedar Point. 3rd - they remodeled this very well. It felt well maintained and it's super cute. 4th - the blackout shades were very helpful. The communication with the owners worked well. Now...the other parts. We……

“The hotel has free bowling next door, friendly staff, free but very basic breakfast, free ice cream social in evening and a great location in vicinity of the park. Room was not cleaned up and beds were not made, towels picked but not replaced for two straight days which was the most disturbing - I have never seen this at even smaller motels. The phone was not even connected to the wire when we decided to call for help.”

“Breakfast the staff was really desperate to take you out. Unbelievable, looks like they make some money if they take you out quickly and early.”
